As a reminder, our next meeting is the Manatee Orchid Society’s last before the summer break. Board elections will be held in May; currently, all positions are uncontested. The Vice President position remains open if anyone is interested in joining the Board.
Dinner meeting & Repotting session - May 12th
Taco & Repotting Party - May 12 - 6 PM
The Society will provide tacos, trimmings, and drinks. Please bring a Mexican-style hors d'oeuvre, side dish, or dessert to share. RSVP to our Snack Chair, Angie Cleator and let her know what you plan to bring.
Additionally, please bring an orchid that needs repotting. The Society will supply the medium (lava rock and sphagnum moss), pot clips, and clay pots (available in 4”, 5”, and 6” sizes). We will also have an orchid raffle and a silent auction for donated McCoy pots.
Finally, remember to bring your orchids for Show & Tell so we can see what you are growing!
